    1) Addiction Counselor
    JOB PURPOSE:
    • To provide high-quality addiction counseling services to individual Guest Clients and Guest Client groups with a wide range of physical and mental health needs stemming from substance use disorders, in order to develop and implement appropriate treatment plans that support their sustained recovery and quality of life
    Job Duties:
     Support and stimulate motivation and desire for treatment in Guest Clients and to present themselves as models of success which help to promote the message that there is a way to live without drugs.
     Develop close peer and therapeutic relationships with Guest Clients, which facilitate Guest Clients engaging and sustaining in recovery and in linking with other members of the MDT involved in the treatment plan.
     Be available to community members to listen and to provide advice and information on how to access the hospital services.
     Contribute in determining the suitability of admission to the hospital services for community members, and as appropriate, encourage them to seek help and use the hospital services to support their treatment and recovery process.
     Explain to Guest Clients the general nature and goals of the hospital and its treatment programmers as well as the expected roles and responsibilities of Guest Clients to facilitate their full commitment and ensure an effective recovery.
     Utilize counseling skills to assist individuals in achieving objectives through exploration of the presenting problems and ramifications, examination of Guest Clients’ attitudes and feelings, consideration of alternative solutions and decision-making.
     Contribute to the development of the MDT treatment plan by working with the other MDT professionals on regular basis to deliver effective and efficient high quality services.
     Work with Guest Clients in bringing together services, other relevant agencies, resources and people within a planned framework of action in order to support the achievement of established goals.
     As part of the MDT plan, to help Guest Clients in managing times of acute emotional and/or physical distress.
     Provide information and psycho education (Including Pre- Matrix and MATRIX Relapse prevention and Social Support Programs and Addiction Counselor relevant programmers) to individuals and groups concerning alcohol and other substance abuse.
     Chart the results of the assessment and treatment plan, prepare reports, progress notes in order track recovery process and share information with involved staff in the MDT responsible for Guest Client’s care.
     Evaluate therapeutic counseling and treatment outcomes to identify gaps in services and recommend improvements.
     Participate in MDT risk assessments to provide recommendations regarding care and monitoring of Guest Clients.
    Job Requirements:
    • Certificate or diploma in Addiction Counseling (or equivalent) which includes clinical practice.
    • At least 2 years of experience in addiction counseling in a clinically supervised practice providing care for those with substance use or addiction needs.
    • Knowledge of addiction counseling and guidance
    • Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
    • Knowledge of human behavior and performance; individual differences in ability, personality, and interests; learning and motivation; psychological research methods; and the assessment and treatment of behavioral and affective disorders.
    • Demonstrable skills in developing and providing person-centred approaches.
    • Excellent use of the English language (must) and Arabic language ().
    • Excellent interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work well as part of a team.
    2) Dietician
    JOB PURPOSE:
    • To work closely with a multidisciplinary team to provide a high standard of clinical nutritional care, which encompasses assessment, treatment and management of Guest-clients experiencing substance-related and addictive disorders and co-morbid condition.
    • To assess and deliver scientific evidence-based nutritional advice to improve the health and wellbeing of the hospital Guest-Clients.
    • To work in a preventative role on a one-to-one and a group basis with Guest-Clients and will also take on an advisory role with the the hospital culinary team, helping to develop a range of appropriate menus
    Job Duties:
    Clinical
     Provide high quality expert nutritional clinical care that is evidence based; assessing, treating and progressing Guest-client care across the areas of mental health, lifestyle modification and persistent pain.
     Flexibly manage a varied caseload of both residential and ambulatory care of Guest-clients with complex medical needs.
     Work as part of a team to ensure effective communication and delivery of care.
     Work closely with the culinary team to develop menus.
    Educational
     Participate in in-service development.
     Participate in the hospital service improvement.
     Assist in the teaching of other multidisciplinary team members, clinical and non-clinical staff, and others to promote understanding of clinical nutrition to enhance Guest-client recovery.
     Provide nutritional education to hospitality services at the hospital.
    Generic Accountabilities
     Assisting in the setup, organization and operation of the hospital clinical services.
    Job Requirements:
    • A Bachelor's degree in human nutrition or dietetics
    • Licensed as a clinical dietician in home country
    • Up-to-date CPD in relevant areas.
    • Minimum 5 years clinical experience.
    • Multidisciplinary experience in one of the following of clinical fields: mental health, cardiopulmonary or medical.
    • Previous experience in specialist area of mental health
    • Other specialist experience e.g. commissioning, opening, practice guideline development
    3) Family Therapist
    JOB PURPOSE:
    • To work closely with a multi-disciplinary team to provide a high standard of clinical multi-systemic care, which encompasses Guest Client and family assessment, treatment, education and support of Guest Client with family across a wide range of clinical areas including mental health, to include family mental health, trauma and recovery; and lifestyle modifications
    Job Duties:
    Clinical Duties
    • Conduct multi-systemic therapy assessment which consists of reviewing of referral information, identifying and engaging key participants, identifying systemic strengths and weaknesses, and developing an analysis of the fit of problem behaviours within the ecological context.
    • Provide clinical treatment using methods compatible with multi-systemic therapy principles and practices for assigned cases.
    • Implement a problem conceptualization, treatment planning, intervention, outcome review, and strategy revision procedure using the multi-systemic therapy Analytic Process.
    • Assess a client’s needs, abilities or behaviour using a variety of diagnostic tests and through interviews and direct observation.
    • Participate in all multi-systemic therapy training, supervision and consultation activities.
    • Provide guest client, spouse of GC, parents and caregivers psycho-education and resources pertaining to child and family development, and, family trauma and recovery.
    Educational Duties
    • Assist in conducting clinical research, adding to the evidence base of practice in addictions and related areas.
    • Teach, undertake an agreed program of continuing professional development and attend conferences or seminars to increase the personal and collective understanding of mental, emotional and behavioral states or disorders.
    • Assist in the teaching of other multidisciplinary team members, clinical and non-clinical staff, and others to promote knowledge of mental health to patient care.
    Job Requirements:
    • A Master’s degree or Ph.D. in Social Work, Psychology (or Psy. D.), Professional Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy or similar.
    • Licensed as a family therapist, multi-systemic therapist or similar in home country.
    • Up-to date CPD in relevant areas.
    • Postgraduate Qualification in a relevant subject area.
    • Minimum 5 years clinical experience.
    • Multidisciplinary experience in a range of clinical fields to include adult and family mental health, child and adolescent mental health, family trauma and recovery, behavioural couple’s therapy.

    4) Psychologist
    JOB PURPOSE:
    • To work closely with a multidisciplinary team to provide a high standard of clinical care, which encompasses psychological assessment, treatment and management of Guest-clients experiencing substance-related and addictive disorder and co-occurring mental health conditions.
    Job Duties:
    Clinical Duties
    • To undertake structured interviews, psychological assessments (including complex psychometric tests), observations of individuals and groups and to evaluate and when indicated diagnose the nature and condition of mental health disorders.
    • To lead in the development of psychological formulations of clinical presentations and in the delivery of integrative treatment plans, which include psychological treatment and/or management of clients’ presenting problems and to ensuring that treatment plans are appropriately devised, updated and implemented.
    • To guide clients in the development of skills and strategies for dealing with their presenting problems.
    • To provide individual, couple and family psychotherapy when indicated and to assist in the co-ordination and facilitation of evidence-based therapeutic groups.
    • To assist in the evaluation of the effectiveness of psychological intervention programs based on measurable outcomes and client’s progress.
    • Perform any other work-related tasks or activities as directed by the ‘direct supervisor’.
    Educational Duties
     To participate and lead in psychology in-service development.
     To develop and implement the hospital service evaluation and improvement initiatives.
     To assist in the teaching of other multidisciplinary team members, clinical and non-clinical staff to promote knowledge and understanding of psychology and the psychological strategies for enhancing client care.
     To remain up to date on recent developments in the field of psychological treatment and to adapt clinical practice to reflect evidence-based client care.
    Job Requirements:
    • A Master’s Degree, Psy. D. or Ph. D. in Clinical/ Counseling Psychology
    • Licensed as a clinical psychologist/counseling psychologist/psychotherapist in home country.
    • Up-to date CPD in relevant clinical/counseling psychology areas.
    • At least 5 years’ experience in a clinical, community or clinical-academic setting exposing the person to client groups and service settings directly relevant to clinical/counseling psychology.
    • Multidisciplinary experience across the fields of mental and physical health.
    • Previous experience in the specialist area of eating disorders and/or the treatment of obesity
    • Other specialist experience e.g. commissioning, accreditation, practice guideline development, teaching.
    • Advanced residential Guest-client and ambulatory care Guest-client clinical skills.
    5) Manager – Clinical Support
    Job Purpose:
    • To manage and coordinate clinical support activities in order to ensure that the hospital’s Medical Team are delivering high quality services and support the team in the management of Guest Client cases and treatment plans.
    Job Duties:
    Corporate Strategy
    • Develop and execute the department’s long-term strategic plan in alignment with the hospital’s corporate strategy.
    • Develop annual business plans for the department to ensure the achievement of financial and strategic objectives.
    • Support in the development of objectives and plans for the applicable cross-functional teams in order to ensure the achievement of guest client’s objectives and service standards.
    • Report to the Director – Clinical Operations on the progress of activities against the annual business plans, opportunities, challenges and issues faced, mitigations taken, etc. as required, to make an informed decision.
    • Manage and continuously monitor the performance of the department to ensure performance deviations are identified in a timely manner, and required resources and actions are implemented to meet performance targets.
    Leadership
    • Manage the department performance by assisting the Director – Clinical Operations in managing the performance of direct and indirect reports (including applicable cross-functional teams),
    • identifying and defining workforce requirements (by monitoring capacity, utilization and productivity, and skills, gender and language mix),
    • Allocating and scheduling workforce, coordinating licensing and privileging, and coverage. Identifying training needs and developing talent, in conjunction with the relevant stakeholders (i.e., Human Resources, Organization Development, Talent Management),
    • to ensure qualified and highly motivated staff propel the hospital to achieve its objectives.
    Job Requirements:
    • Master’s degree in Health Management or equivalent from a reputable university.
    • Up-to date CPD in relevant areas.
    • 10 years of experience in Clinical Support, including at least 3 years in positions of progressively increasing managerial responsibilities.
    • Knowledge of local health regulations and procedures.
    • Knowledge of laboratory and pharmacy operations and activities
    • Strong knowledge in dental operations and services.
    6) Medical Assessment Physician
    Job Purpose:
    • To take a lead role in the identification and assessment of Guest Client eligibility and suitability of Guest Clients receiving treatment at the hospital and initiate the development of individual is therapeutic strategies.
    Duties:
    Clinical Care
    • Work closely with a multidisciplinary team to provide a high standard of medical care, which encompasses clinical assessment, treatment and management of Guest Clients across a wide range of clinical areas including mental health disorders, lifestyle modification and chronic pain.
    • Assess Guest Client’s medical and mental health using a variety of diagnostic tests and through interviews and direct observation to establish eligibility and suitability of the Guest Client for receiving treatment at the hospital and initiate a comprehensive treatment plan that best meets Guest Clients’ requirements.
    • Recommend the onward path the Guest Client will take as outpatient or inpatient to effectively and efficiently meet treatment goals.
    • Examine or conduct laboratory or diagnostic tests on Guest Clients to provide information on general medical and mental health.
    • Provide Guest Clients with a verbal summary of the key issues raised during the assessment process to confirm and reassure the Guest Clients that they have been listened to and to check that all areas discussed were accurately interpreted and represented back by the physician.
    • Discuss with Guest Client the different treatment options (including location of treatment, benefits, potential side effects, duration, expectations and commitment required by the Guest Client) available based on the comprehensive medical assessment to effectively achieve Guest Client’s goals and to plan care process accordingly.
    • Present assessment in a standardized format to highlight areas of concerns in a structured way.
    • Perform a compressive risk assessment and devise management strategies to mitigate and effectively manage risk.
    • If needed, refer the Guest Client to the Consultant Psychiatrist to conduct a specialist assessment.
    • Use internationally validated tools to assist in determining the extent of withdrawal risk, and provide Guest Client with their detoxification options (i.e., drug free and/or medically assisted) based on that assessment.
    Job Requirements:
    • Medical degree followed by specialist training in MICGP, MRCGP or equivalent.
    • At least 5 years of relevant experience in general medicine.
    • Qualified and licensed General Practitioner
    • Up-to-date CPD in relevant areas.
    • Broad medical knowledge in diagnosis and intervention.
    • Expert knowledge of pharmacological for general medical management.
    • Knowledge of pharmacological and psychotherapeutic strategies for treatment of medical, mental, emotional or behavioral disorders
    • Excellent use of the English language (must) and Arabic language (preferred)*
    7) Spiritual & Religious Lead
    Job Purpose:
    • To manage the Spiritual & Religious individual and group programmes and Team and to provide Islamic religious guidance, practices, and leadership to the Guest Clients at the hospital per the teachings of the Holy Quran. To work with Guest Clients and their families in accordance with Islam to promote rehabilitation and recovery. 

    Duties:
    • Provide Islamic religious psychosocial interventions as per recommendations of the clinical team.
    • Provide Islamic religious guidance, practices, and leadership to the Guest Clients at The hospital according to the teachings of the Holy Quran, and provide spiritual and religious counseling services tailored to those who are looking to achieve sobriety through strengthening their faith and relationship with Allah.
    • Attend multidisciplinary team meetings, to contribute, plan, monitor and evaluate care. 

    • Work closely with Guest Clients and their families in accordance with Islamic teachings to explore the impact of addiction on them, their families and their faith, and come up with practical steps to promote rehabilitation and recovery.
    • Collaborates in developing a personalized recovery plan with Guest Clients to help them understand their problems and act accordingly, making them accountable to the plan and further encourage commitment.
    • Ensure programmed helps Guest Clients find meaning and purpose in their lives through their Islamic beliefs, and rebuild their hopes to motivate them and support their healing process.
    • Be aware of the cultural context to understand the social struggle Guest Clients face and the impact addiction has on their faith, to help them overcome these challenges by strengthening their relationships with God and making them productive again.
    • Facilitate group counseling programmers to allow Guest Clients to develop spiritual connections with others and gain their support help in the healing process and prevent Guest Clients’ relapse.
    Job Requirements:
    • Degree in Islamic Studies or equivalent.
    • Postgraduate qualification in a relevant subject area
    • At least 7 years of experience in a spiritual and religious counseling role, including at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
    • Ability to work well as part of a team.
    • Ability to accommodate change in the workplace.
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
    • Basic IT skills and ability to use management information systems.
    • Good skill handling personnel from a multi-cultural work environment.
